Starting November 15th, you'll be able to submit your bid for the opportunity to take home these custom bins while underwriting sustainability initiatives at your favorite Southern California schools.
These 65-gallon bins are not just attention-grabbing art; they are a statement about the importance of making a commitment to our planet and practicing the 5 R's—refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose, and recycle.
Cesar Torres is an LA-based creative director and illustrator. Currently working for Mattel heading up creative for Hot Wheels, Matchbox, and Thomas and Friends, while taking the opportunity to Illustrate on the side. He has been a devoted No Doubt fan since 1994, and Coachella was the perfect opportunity to blend his life passions, No Doubt and Art, with his submission of "Always Fresh, No Doubt!" for Global Inheritance's TRASHed Art of Recycling program.
Mel Depaz is a multimedia artist from Compton, CA specializing in murals and public art. Her art is inspired by her range of interest including cars, color theory, Los Angeles, and story telling through illustration. You can find more of Mel's work at Meldepaz.com
