Winner Recap: Win a Trip To See Noah Kahan at Fenway Park

July 31st, 2024

Gabby R. from Indiana was the winner of the Propeller experience to "Win a Trip To See Noah Kahan at Fenway Park" that took place in July 2024. Below are some of Gabby's highlights from the experience.

What an incredible experience this trip was for my best friend and I!

We traveled from Indianapolis to Boston together just in time to grab some dinner on Newbury street and walk through Boston Commons at sunset. Boston is such a special city and it was my friend's first time visiting, so we made sure to spend a day seeing all that the historical city had to offer (We ended the night with Ben and Jerry's of course!).

The day of the concert was a blur of the most amazing memories. We picked up our tickets from the Will Call booth outside Fenway Park and were led right onto the turf. The concert being at Fenway Park was one of the most magical details of the whole experience; seeing the historic stadium transformed to hold 35,000 fans was jaw dropping.

The energy during the concert was magnetic. Every person we met had stories of how loving Noah's music had changed their life. It was a dream come true to see Noah Kahan perform so close to where we were seated. A gorgeous sunset which started the evening off gave way to the entire stadium being lit up with bracelets that glowed in sync with each song that was played.

Watching Noah perform was overwhelming in the best way possible. I have been a fan of Noah's for about three years now, and watching his music resonate so profoundly with everyone surrounding us at the concert was surreal. My best friend and I sang, laughed, cried and screamed along with everyone else in that stadium who felt such a community that night.

I think the best part of the night (If it's possible to name just one) was the Lumineers coming on as surprise guests and singing a duet with Noah on the Green Monster. I just couldn't even believe I was seeing my two favorite artists of all time perform together. The entire concert was one enormous celebration of the community Noah has provided his listeners. I am deeply grateful for his music and his ability to put voice and melody to exactly what I am feeling. It takes courage to write so vulnerably and Noah does it in a way that is beyond inspiring to anyone listening.

I want to thank Noah for making this experience possible through his foundation, The Busyhead Project. The organization assists people dealing with a variety of mental health concerns and  gathers donations for mental health organizations and societies. Another huge thank you to Propeller for all the amazing work they do to promote such important causes. And finally, thank you to Hannah at Propeller who made this experience run as smoothly as possible and was so gracious in our communication.
