The numbers are staggering. One in five adults in the U.S. (46.6 million) experience some sort of mental illness each year. With one in 25 adults experiencing a serious mental illness that substantially interferes with or limits major life activities.
But the numbers don't tell the full story. These people are our friends, our family, our neighbors. They are you and me.
There's a mental health crisis happening in our country right now. And it's time to get serious about how we address mental health issues. We think that starts with making it safe for people to have an open conversation about their challenges.
Propeller is proud to work with organizations like To Write Love on Her Arms, The Campaign to Change Direction, and Music Minds Matter that are working to end the stigma around mental illness and provide support for those who need it.
We're encouraging everyone to do something in support of Mental Health Month. Mental health is a serious issue, but we've made it fun to get involved.
