Alyssa from Kalamazoo, MI won this Surreal trip to Arizona to ring in the New Year in style...

Following the experience, Propeller caught up with her to learn about her trip. Here's what she had to say about it...

Propeller: How did you find out about Propeller and what type of actions did you complete to earn points towards winning this experience?

Alyssa: I found out about Propeller through Bassnectar. I always participate in the charity events his team does during events and I heard about how there was a way to give back and win experiences through this site. I do all sorts of actions. I watch videos, sign petitions, post on Instagram and Facebook. I also got connected to rock the vote through Propeller and now I go work with them at shows to help people register to vote and be informed on whats happening politically.

Propeller: What was the highlight of your New Years Eve?

Alyssa: The best part of NYE was getting to share my meet and greet with this young boy who was so excited to meet Marshmello. His parents worked with Relentless to allow him to meet him and he had no idea it was happening. Just to see the wonder and excitement on his face was so awesome. I gifted him a Marshmello Kandi Cuff and he loved it so much.

Propeller: Did you meet Marshmello? How was this experience?

Alyssa: I did! It was super exciting and very official. My Husband and I were Mello'd up and he commented on liking our gear. We took a quick pick and he was off to the stage.

Propeller: What was the best part of the trip to Arizona?

Alyssa: When we were waiting to meet Shaq we got the privilege of meeting the Governor of the Gila River Indian Community. I was able to thank him for allowing us to be there to celebrate NYE and have a discussion about the land being used for festivals and events. I told him I have never been to Arizona but I found it very beautiful. We also had a chat about Michigan and him possibly visiting a festival we have here.

Propeller: Why is ChildHelp so important to you?
Alyssa: ChildHelp is an amazing charity. We were out shopping one day and saw a ChildHelp booth where you could donate a backpack for a child and it would get filled with school supplies. We donated a backpack and spent a good amount of time talking to the volunteer. It was awesome to hear about how long ChildHelp has been active in Arizona. Children are our future and it is so important that they have access to a loving family, food, and education.
